Two Months Worth of Loot Jan 25 to March 25

The door was largely shut on Horseshoe Bay last year but it opened for almost 2 months, closing again last week when the sand plowed back in to cover any targets that I missed.

Here's the loot: (Gold in the front and Silver in the back)

Hang in there Pirates, you may be sanded in for months but when Davey Jones opens that locker you need to be there and hit it hard.:super:

Cheers All,

Fantastic, great hunting! You must have had some fun finding that lot. Brilliant, and very very nice to see.Inspirational, too, thanks.

wtg nice loot there......:clapping::detecting:

What can a Pirate do but read the beach for good signs, know his machine and hunt persistently. The rest is in the hands of the Surf God.

Have faith because the loot is out there,

BDA:cool:

I've been huntting for 35 years. The problem is the air temp. has not been over 70 degree for 3 months and water temp. has been 50 to 60 degrees and know one want to go in the water. It's been very rough. this year .At 61 years old you tend to stay out of rough water.

I hear you, Mate. It's been an unusually cold winter here as well and the hunting has been bitter but profitable. Water temp around 60 and air temps about the same, fortunately the cold brought the winds that produced the waves that pried open Davey's Locker.:thumbup: From what I hear I will be experiencing more of the same when I hit Miami, except not the waves. :thumbdown: Still, there has to be a little loot out there somewhere.:cool:

Nice Haul!!!!

Oc has about two good months of this open door to knock down several gold a day, Ya just have to know the time's & place's....and as fast as it come's it can be gone within hours..........Joe

GREAT HAUL THERE BUDDY, I got to thinking a couple months ago after I bought my excalI and after folks like gene edwards(pumping me up) got me into this fever I decided to open a 'WE BUY GOLD STORE" yeah the fever struck me hard. never,ever has there been a hobby that actually pays you with a little persistence? has there? no feeling in tis world like the adrenaline feeling of unearthing gold? am I lying? what a rush !

Awesome haul, can't wait to get out there tomorrow. Reading this forum really get's me in the mood to pillage.

Nice haul Eric and hope you are getting ready to show us over here that there is something out there we just are not finding it. It is warmer than previous and as I was With Grandchildren since Friday I do not know water temp. Will give you feedback on that later today. Severe storms coming thru and hail and tornados and yes maving sand hopefully preparing for your arrival. Not only do surf Gods like you it appears but also the storm Gods favor your trip.
