Two hunts with the AT PRO I forgot

Balance before setting out detecting.:yikes:
I used the ACE 250 for two years which is a turn on and go detector,
bad habit die hard.
Guess what, did not find any gold rings or jewelry but plenty of foil ,pull tabs , and bottle caps.
I,m digging every thing to see what comes up. Still a learning process with 10 hours on it.
I thought I did well considering I found about $ 10 plus in the first hunt and the second
about $ 5 in change plus some of our higher denomination coins.
Also found first silver 1940 guarter.:clapping:
I just got to get that balancing routine down .:ranting:
I use other detectors that don't need this balancing as its automatically done once there turned on.
I really think the AT PRO is a real good detector even if its not balanced:thumbup:

Way to go Joel, I dig everything above 50 thats where the gold rings show up , I use auto G B just push in and

hold the button and bob the coil until there is minimal noise from the ground , release the button and your

good to go. I love my AT so much that I went and bought another one.

Good Luck Joel and H H.

I will definitely be ground balancing it (if I can in our neutral soil) and tweaking it a bit by going a little higher or lower depending on what type of targets I will be hunting. It truly is a wonderful piece of electronic equipment.
