[/img] Have been very busy at work not much time to metal detect but did get in two 4 hour hunts . Got about a dozen wheat's 1 1895 v nickel 2 buffs 24 and 26 dimes 1901 1904 1919d 41 2 44 45 Indians 84 89 95 96 90 2 tokens and 1 silver ring . I was working the horse area which is gated and has 6 to 7 inches of sand on top of original dirt about 2 acres all the coins were 10 to 11 inches deep don't think it was worked since 1985 when they filled it . I know I'm missing some coins because of depth was using the stock coil may need a 17 inch coil to do this area . Anyhow it's easy digging . Had the stock coil maxed at 30 for sence lots of falsing just had to recheck the targets many times and hoped they stayed where I heard the high pitch .Lots of junk down there but another great spot to work out . At this rate I'm going to have to wait to hit the other fairgrounds I located this winter . Been trying to get my video done but still need more time . Hope you guys got out .sube

That's awesome sube. Seeing posts like this gives me hope there has gotta be more spots like this gonna have to hit the library. Great job!

You don't need another fairground with one that keeps producing like that one does Sube - good ones are hard to find. My brothers and I hit one this weekend that was old but very clean of anything old, they may have scraped or filled it at one time. We went across the street to an RV park that used to be part of the f.g. and immediately dug 2 injuns. You just never know. Nice work!

Nice Sube

That's well done. That site has produced and produced

I always look forward to seeing your fairground finds:)

Wow Sube! What a great site you have! Good job on those deep finds!
