First hunt at a soccer field site along the sidelines.
Found silver jewelry here, a titanium wedding ring and a ton of clad but so far no gold.
This $5 bill was just lying there waiting to be picked up...so I did.
Second hunt at a park with gold for sure because I found some already, but it also has a house that the original family lived in when this park was one large farm.
Not fenced in so open to hunt, I gotta believe this area has been scoured by other hunters.
I still come back and try my luck looking for leftovers and early in the year I found a silver Roosevelt in the backyard, yesterday this nice silver quarter in the front yard.
Might be more, I gotta keep trying on return visits.
If I didn't find that quarter the prize of the day would have been this old ID bracelet with a single letter punched into the middle probably by the owner who was probably a child.
The chains were balled up and super rusted so I assume it is decades old.
Also found an oven thermometer that disguised itself as a large piece of can slaw, an aluminum pocket cross that says god loves me and a fob with my first Suzuki key.
Gold fever is rising in my blood as we speak, but nice silver calms it a bit while I wait.
