TWO HEADED Indian Cent !!

I went back to my IH park for a couple hours last sunday. I found a couple IHs and wheats. When I got to cleaning them a bit I got a shock! I looked at one of the IHs - 1889. When I flipped it over to look at the back, ANOTHER Indian was staring back at me!! What the ***!? Was I seeing things? Could this be some kind of an error? Then I looked at the edge and I could see a seam. This cent was found at about 6 inches - this means that around 100+ years ago someone took the time to sand down two 1889 IHs and bond them together to make a two-headed cent!
Also found an 1890 IH and two wheats - 1919 and 1926.
Thanks for sharing. Bruce

PS - I found a super find for myself yesterday but I want to get more detailed info before I post it. STOKED!

Bruce that two-headed injun' is sweet.

Imagine the stories that might have been associated with it way back then!!

cool find drkp.

That is super-cool :smoke: .... what do you think the odds are of finding another one ?

Or it was a carnival oddity made for some reason. Interesting find.. Did you separate them...?

Sure wouldn't have wanted to flip them for anything and have them call heads LOL

That is an awesome Indian! I would leave them as is. Great conversation piece!! :clapping:
