[attachment 194842 DSCF0198.JPG]The weather today broke clear after a pounding rain all night. My partner and I decided to hunt today in the woods because of the mud..At our second stop just after lunch I found a little rototilled patch of earth that had not been planted last year but was real soft.Half way across it I got a deep high tone. Thought probably some garden thing but dig and get it out..Was surprised to see a large cent 1828. I go get my partner and we both hit this garden. On the first pass he gets a large cent also... later he got his first v nickel. I also got a snuff tin Merry Widows!!! They knew!!! thanks and HH goldbill

Very nice coins, but I don't think that is a snuff tin. I believe it was used to hold condoms. You might want to Google it.
