Got a call from a buddy this morning to go on a relic hunt in the woods. He picked a spot which had previously given up a coin in the 1700's, large cents and some fishscales. He suggested we hunt with our GTI 1500's using the sniper coils. Well, I dusted off the 1500, changed the stock 9 inch imaging coil for the small sniper coil. Well, we weren't so lucky today. Got clad and some older relics. It was just nice to get out for a fall hunt. :)

One of the items I found was the remains of an old lantern. I have previously found some of these, but this one was in not too bad of shape.

Here was the find of the day, an old belt buckle. My buddy and I each found a half of it. I mean....what are the chances of this.
