Two first

Back from Cape Cod with the family. I spent lots of time during low tide digging. Found my first seated dime and my first large cent. I had a blast .

Great job! I'm only two seated dimes in, one seated quarter, and one bust dime, as well as a 3 cent silver piece. For some reason I seem to find more barber dimes and quarters than rosies or Washingtons. I think it has to do with the rosies/washingtons being "easier" to find and thus have been recovered by others. Of course my number one silver seems to be Mercury dimes, probably for the same reason. I always tell my friends if they pop a few Washington silver quarters that means the site hasn't been hunted very hard because those are the shallowest/newest of silvers in terms of being the biggest and thus easiest to "hit", of course with the expeption of silver halfs or dollars.

/Birdman nice finds , very nice , I long for one silver coin , and low it does not come only the cut nail, and shot shell keep at that spot
