I four years ago, I bought a Minelab Safari.... as a "back up", I bought an Xterra 705. The Xterra has been in the box since I bought it.... It kinda survived a move, but, I lost the "stand" part of the arm cuff assembly...
Recently, I unboxed it, and discovered that the stand was missing.
I called Kellyco, and bought a few items, like extra hardware to affix the Safari 5 pack, to the coils, that I have on additional lower rods..... then, I asked about the stand..... The Kellyco guy was great.... he said that if I didn't need the entire arm cuff assembly, $20, that I might call Minelab, and see if they had just the XTerra stand...
I called Minelab. I believe that her name is Chris... perhaps Christie.... but she is fantastic... She said that Minelab does not compete with their distributors, which is really cool.... she told me to call Kellyco..... I responded that the guy at Kellyco told me to call Minelab, because I just needed the STAND.... not the entire arm cuff assembly.
She said that she would check the warehouse to see if they could scavenge one from a distressed machine... 45 minutes later, she called me back and had the STAND....
After this "service" experience with both Kellyco and Minelab, I am so glad that I chose the Minelab brand.
They pleased me.... If I decide to "move up", which, honestly is not too likely, because I do love my Safari.... I will stay within the Minelab brand and will always recommend Kellyco, and Minelab.
