Two Explorers any interference?

I just purchased an Explorer for myself and was going to buy one for my wife. Is there going to be a problem with running the two detectors in close proximity of each other. Such as false signals or erratic operation.

I hunted with another Explorer this weekend. If you get very close together you can get some interference. My experience with other machines is "their" machines will make noise but my Explorer stays pretty stable.

Tim,use your `noise cancle`and use a different channel on both machines if you have interfernce problems.Ralph

The last DFX that hunted near me couldn't get within 40 feet and his machine would go nuts, the Explorer was quiet as a mouse though.

No problem using noise cancel with hunting fairly close to other explorers. but once you get within 5 feet of each other you can get falsing even at different channels,, Better to stay at least 20 feet apart just to be sure even if your not getting interference it could still be affecting top performance, but that goes with any two machines even at different frequencies, whether your hearing it or not..

Leave one on the factory freq. and go into settings and change the 2nd one. This will keep you from having to use the noise cancel evertime you turn on the detectors.
