i have two detectors that i hunt with at the monent, one is the x terra 50 and the vaquero,i like both . i's a pity they can't be combined into the one machine,or maybe they have and i don't know it .i like tid and i like audio.both have worked great! i don't know which one i should get rid off? at this stage i only hunt coins and jewellery blowfly hh :detecting:

Keep 'em both. One can be used as a backup for the other. Also, different detector makes for different hunting needs or situations. That's why I kept my first detector, a Prizm IV, and also swing an X-Terra 50. You have two great detectors. You can also introduce a friend into the hobby and let 'em try the other machine.

I agree keep them both. Even if you hunt with one most of the time. A backup is always nice, Beale.

Yeah, in fact I would try to get the 6" HF DD coil and put in on the XT-50 and keep the stock coil or get the bigger 9X12 for the Ace 250. Then you're better covered for any type of hunting if you keep both in the car when you go out. The 6" coil is a coil magnet in real trashy ground. Also, you can lend the Ace 250 if you're trying to get permission and trying to persuade somebody. There is all kind of reasons (including backup machine) to have at least two machines.
