Two days-Two sterling silvers

Did a bit of dirt fishing over the past two days. Hit some of the area around a Little League Ball field. Had to leave the area yesterday morning as a Mommy was afraid of my "Big Knife" (Lesche Digging tool). So I took a break during the heat of the day and went to a fairly new local park. Found sterling silver both days. First day the little ring was my third target and yesterday evening at the park the ring was my second target. Dug up a total of $12.30 in clad to go along with the Rings. Found my third Sacajawea Dollar. All three of the Sacajaweas have found been this month.

Nice finds. I hit an area earlier this year that had 13 dollar coins in it, including 5 Saca's. I think someone had been hiding them for Easter and the kids didn't find them. All were about 1.5 inches in depth. Easy pickings that day. You did the right thing by moving on after the Mommy incident. I don't know how you could have come on top of that one.

I also tripped into a spill of 4 of those dollars earlier this week. Seems a guy can go for months whacking clad without any, and then they all show up at once.

I eyeballed a Pres. Pearce $1 coin Sunday lying on the ground. Later that night, I went out to dinner celebrating father's day with my son and my old man. An old, scruffy guy wheeling a bike through a high-toned crowd of restaurant and club-goers in a newly glamorous Brickell area intersection, came right for me ignoring a couple dozen sleek, high-toned folks along the way, and asked me for a dollar. I gave him the pearce coin. Funny how he picked me out. Must have been my BDU pants, einstein hair, and 3 day beard.

Nice!!! Yaa...I don't take my Lesche digger into any parks, these days everyone is so "scared".

Same here. I carry this modified Wilcox 18" x 2" digger. It makes a better weapon than the Lesche digger if you ever need to defend yourself, but it looks safe and pretty.
