While I have been waiting for the snow to come I have been able to get out for a few hours each day. Yesterday was OK with about $4.00 in change then a .925 ring. Then I got a dime signal & dug four dimes out of the same hole, went over it again & got another dime signal. The fifth coin had 10 on it but it was a 1910 wheat in very good condition. Today a different park & only a few bucks in change, but another .925 ring then a 1955 poor mans dd wheat. It has been awhile since I have found any old coins & these last two were in places I have hunted many times. I will have to get into the bag & count the rings for the year, I think the last two put me over 20 silver & 6 or 7 gold, all in all a good year for me as rings go.

That 1910 wheatie must have been a shocking surprise...I love when that happens ! Great ring totals too bula...what coil(s) are you using mostly ?

Bula,

Great Job on all those rings. Clad count must be adding up for the year = $$$$. Oh BTW - What is S-N-O-W ?

CCH

CCH snow for some is liquid gold, at least if there is enough to push & if you want I'll send you some. :detecting:

srf2112 I use the 6x10 for the most part & I don't dig a lot of tabs. In my area any solid signal at 18-20, 32, 42 & all high 70 & 80 signals I dig, there are always exceptions but I listen to the sound of the hit. Of course the best ring I have found was a foil signal it just had a good sound to it.

You did great out there detecting. Congratulations on the rings and the old wheat cents. What a nice surprise to find all that. You can keep the snow. We've been lucky so far. Larry is out detecting today while I'm doggie sitting. :clapping: HH, Nancy

Nancy, are you doggie sitting at my sons house, if so your in big trouble because from the picture one of the dogs is missing.

OH MY! Your son has three? We just got the pup a few weeks ago and she's been such a doll. The General has taken her under his wing. I don't think I could handle three boxers. :surrender:

Nancy, am I seeing things or is the General multiplying...?!?

Your eyes are fine Scott. We got a new addition to our family two weeks ago. She's a little joy and very well mannered and a very good little girl. Her name is Maggie. :bouncy:
