two coins, same hole, heard em both, ID'd em both correctly, different depths,

These coins are nothing special by any means other than they were right in the area where we always start detecting every time we hit this spot. They should have been found yrs ago.

I got an ID of 31 which is a nickel and a 64 which is high zinc-low copper. I was able to pinpoint both items even though there were about 3 inches apart. The nickel read a depth of 6 and the penny a depth of 9.

I use the F70 and stock F70 coil and find it to be VERY capable to focus on and between targets but this is the FIRST really good example worth mentioning. I apologize for these not being colonial coppers or a piece of eight etc, this is about all we get aside from the common silver coins.

Will have smaller coil perhaps tomorrow and hope to see more of this super separation ability.

The F 70 sniffed this out where I had only detected the day before. It says 925 but I do not know what the NF means. The ID read 61 penny.

I have no IDEA what NF means with regard to Sterling silver. I spent some time searching too, its a mystery to me.

I have a dolphin ring too, It seems to have an NG stamp inside is all.

Found this on the net....Nice find....HH,,BJ

The "925" means it's silver; the "NF" might mean no fillers, meaning it's only silver.

All you old sites are now your new sites with the F-70.
I think you will love the small coil...I like my small coil, never used the stock coil.
