Youngted

New member
This last Sunday (21st Aug) searching with the T2 I did at first try Sens 75 disc 10 sounds 1+ which works very well but on this site lots of Roman nails !! after a few I returned to 2+ a number of small 4th century coins to us Grots i.e poor condition but at the same field these two Roman brooches were found. The first a 3rd /4th century Cross bow type the iron pin has gone 4cm long it was tinned at the time to appear as silver. Also a Hod hill type so named after a hill in Dorset England where they were first found. 3cm long and gain tinned once more the pin is missing its not often that this type is found with its pin Dates as a type to A.D.43 to 70 A.D.
