Twin buffalo nickels ..

Both nickels are the 1913-P Type 1, raised ground variety. Found on different days, and a quarter mile apart this weekend. I would say "What are the odds?" ... but apparently they are pretty good. I was honed-in on nickels and pull-tabs for some reason. Only possible silver I could manage was the ornate silver-plated? serving spoon. And of course the various other junk and relic items. Too much fun for one guy I'll tell ya !:detecting:

Very cool! Nickels elude me, I think I've one buffalo and 7 jefferson nicks for the year, congrats!

Nice nickels and wheat. I get about the same trash that you get, and about the same clad, but I haven`t pulled any nice nickels like that out of the ground. :jump: Great post.

Sweet twins bud:thumbup:

It's a shame they weren't war time coins, at least some of them would come out of the ground untoasted. Still good finds though.:beers:

:clapping:Give the Man A home where the Buffalo roam and he will dig them when ever he can:laugh: Congrats keep um coming HH:detecting:
