Twice lost but not twice found ring.

Somehow or other I have managed to loose the first gold ring I found last year. I'm not an idiot ( DO NOT ASK WIFE that!) and am careful with the gold and silver finds I make. I realized it is missing as I was going over some pictures I took of it and the two Walker halves I found the same day. However when I went to see it I could not find it. I am certain it must be close to where I keep my stuff but so far I have not figured out what happened to it. I might have to fire up the E trac to look for it, or perhaps Wifey added it to her collection without saying anything...agian...hmm...Still she wouldn't confirm or deny the Idiot part.

I know how you feel. I used to have a pendant I found that was a good luck charm for certain reasons. One day it was just gone. No idea how or why.

I could hardly sleep that night as I kept wondering what date it was.I found it at dusk and when I got home it was not in my pouch with the 3 Barber dimes:rant:I drove 65 miles round trip the next evening to re-find it and slept much better that night:thumbup: It was a 1916 by the way but no D

I know the feeling. I wish I could find the Rifleman button I found last summer.

I feel better just knowing I'm not the only one with a story like that. Thanks for your "confessions"
