Yep, 25 years ago today i went out... not detecting at that tme, but i was a 20 year old single man, so on the evening, i went out with frieds at the local discotheque.
I saw that breathtaking girl across the dance floor and i went for her.
My openning line was a registred classic :" Haven't we met before ?"
She knew she never saw that handsome man before, but she played the game and pretended searching her memory... the rest is history. We started dating that night, took our first appartement the next year, baught a house in 1984...and did the "right thing" in 1988 when we got married.
Our son was born in 1990.
We barely celebrate our wedding anniversary, but the 24th of september is a date we never forget. Being busy like we are with our carreers, i must admit we didn't had time to plan anything really big. Our autistic son is always part of any celebrations we have, so we'll simply go out for a nice dinner tonigt.
Well i taught i'd share this with you... and I dont know if the openning line is still good these days, but if you're single, try it on, you never know!
