TV Reality Show???

Has anyone seen this show?
I've beed approached in the parks the last few
days by curious people wanting to know about metal detecting.
They said they had seen this Metal Detecting show and
have given serious thought about getting into the hobby. They
seemed more interested in HOW MUCH MONEY THEY WERE
going to make. I get the impression this show might be misleading them.
This might explain why there are so many more people out with detectors now.

Called "American Diggers". A group that says they are a professional arifact recovery team. They follow leads, get permission to hunt and give the land owner a share of the profits. Typical reality show. They don't show the hunts that don't produce anything, but then there wouldn't be a show. Like watching a fishing show where they don't catch fish. Anyway, my local metal detector dealer in Kansas City says he is getting customers who see the show and ask him how long it will take to pay for a new detector. He tells them "never". Show's interesting, but a little over the top formy tastes. But then, most reality shows are, otherwizse, no one would wacth. Watch it and decide for yourself.
