Turns out the T2 is quite a coin shooter.....

Found 42 coins in 2 hours at a local school that I've hunted a few times..... Most were 2-3 inches deep and no silver ,but I knew that before I started.

With the T2 some silver is showing up in my local park though....4 pieces so far...This is the same park the wife found and 1865 two cent piece so we know there must be more.

I'm almost glad I didn't sell that T2...But I still favor my Garrett 2500... Now I guess it's because I'm so used to that size and image stuff. But that could cause a fellow to pass up some really nice relics...Got to be careful!

Hope you guys have some great finds this weekend.

I still want to find and Old Tek Turbo or an S/T if anyone has some leads give em my email: KCK@WOWWAY.COM

Thanks KCK

Just like my first time out with mine at a sledding hill in Fargo, ND this spring. I couldn't wait for the ground to thaw and thought with the snow and ice at this hill I could get some new stuff. I had a pick I used and it worked good as I got many new coins in the ice, but also a few in the ground I had to chip out. I know I must have got over 50 new coins plus a nice gold ring I had to chip out of the ground and did bend it a bit too with the pick. The T-2 worked so good and ID nickles better than most detectors I have used. The T-2 I find a very impressive detectors and I am sure many do too, but we see many selling them that just don't take the time to get to know them.
I used to have a GTI 2500 too and you have to be careful too on the image feature as it cant be trusted as I am sure you have seen too,you have to use you own judgement many times.
I wish you luck with the T-2 and feel you will be glad you kept it.
