Turns out that I love the AT

Back in the cabin fever days just before spring, my AT Pro arrived. I did some air tests and thought that I had a gimpy machine. Well it turns out that the air tests didn't reveal the machines real capabilities. There are so many features on this machine which I am coming to appreciate, that I haven't touched my other detectors all season yet. Due to a very late srping and crazy water\flooding conditions this year I haven't even water detected yet. But I already grab this as my go to machine instinctively. Here are a few pics of my first finds with the AT in a field that I worked pretty hard before. The field is long seeded and close until harvest now. There have been many more cool finds since these early digs. I'm an AT Pro believer !

1909,1918 quarters, 1919 large cent

Single digit\teens coins with an 07 fish.

Great Hunt! The die-hard users know that about the Pro. Never go by air test, look at the finds. Sunday morning I pulled a 14k white gold pendant out of the ground & the diamonds are real. She paid for herself again! I call her the machine that keeps on giving!

Nice finds.......I was concerned about the poor depth you were getting on air tests. It's OK now?

Yes, very much so. I was desperately trying to determine if my machine was defective or not before the season opened. She found my third fish recently, an 1894 Vic. I'm going into my fifth season and I obviously don't know it all\still learning every year. The AT is a wonderful machine.

Cool. I admit prior ignorance about air test validity. Sometimes even the pig headed eventually learn something new.:detecting:

Nice finds! Glad to hear that the AT is performing well for you. Must be some other magic going on in there that the air tests don't show.

I have absolutely no complaints about my ATPRO. It teaches me alot and so does this forun. This is the greatest forum I have ever been on. It's just like a family.-----Dan

I haven't used any of the other units out there, so can't compare, but I got my Pro in Jan this year, and it's exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy with the decision. Artie

Yep, same here, very happy... I only use my Pro in the water, so it has not seen any dirt action. By golly it bangs signals hard in the water even running less than full power, and once the control box is underwater, its very easy and comfortable to swing..Maybe someday I'll get it up on the dirt for a workout...You seem to be doing alright Stinkfoot! nice finds!:clapping:
