I was supposed to find a lost ring for a friend, but they just don't seem to wanna answer my phone calls even on a day like today when I told them I would call. Well, I was in the gold ring mood and had all the things down pat that I would do-search in a/m mode, use the 4" coil, etc. I passed a school that was usually locked and lo and behold someone left the gate unlocked. Well, after about 10 minutes in a/m mode, I hit this little 14K gold ring with an elephant on it! Couldn't get the camera to focus good for some reason, even in macro. Found some interesting little doodads and charms besides the usual nuts and bolts and paper clips. THEN, Backwoods detectors had my new 5.75" coil in the mailbox only 4 days after I punched in the order! What a day!
