Been under the weather since Tues. and not doing much so decided to tumble coins. I have tumbled $39 in clad so far. I have a few bucks in pennies to go.
Isn't this a great hobby? Even when sick you can still do something connected to metal detecting. When I could just lay around I was looking at picture book of the area in the late 1800's and just a few blocks from me was a horse stable. Some of the streets still have the same names and some are just about in the same place as close as I can tell. Thanks for reading...Jer

It feals good to get it all out of the way.

I just got through with mine.

Did not keep track.

But hay it's money in the bank.

HH,

I am doing the same thing today, tumbling clad, but not the sick part. Went out this morning and picked up more clad.

Tomorrow I am turning in all my clad to buy more Silver.....

i finished mine yesterday...its my down time today though. got stuck with laundry duty.....so im researching some stuff online...

Hi guy's tried something different this year tumbling pennies I put a couple of ounces of red wine vinegar with water after washing them to get the crud off and they came up shining nicely then tried regular vinegar and it didn't do the same give it a try. Dan

I'll have to try that next time, already got the pennies going.

Thanks Daniel,

I'll try to remember that.

I'm going to try and stay on top of it

now that I got a tumbler.

HH,

Thanks for replies:
Will be going out soon to detect first time since Tues. feeling better.
Dan isn't it kind of hard to drink the wine with all that sand in it? Got ja again.... hehehe..Jer
P.S. I found 1919, 1924, 1938, 1944 and 1951 wheat pennies in the cleaned pennies. My wife saw them and said now you are back to real metal detecting again..lol..Thanks for reading... Jer
