Listening to my rock tumbler. I'm feeling very confident that we will not get a thaw that allows me to add to 2009 totals. Did a bunch of snow shoveling today. I just went and counted and added up all my coin finds since I was a tadpole. Bet I've made at least 2 cents an hour unless you deduct cost of metal detectors and batteries and gas.

But lots of good memories. I did go and see Rick(ND) and James(ND) and some of the rest this summer.

Will have to look, but suspect this year is about the lowest numbers I've had since buying my XS in 2001. Only got out a couple of dozen times. But did get a few LCs this year. No key dates; only found 3 new dates for my collection- and a few that I already had but were in better condition.

Next year?

Time for some research.

Happy holidays to all.
