Tumber for dirty clad

Any recommendations on a tumbler for cleaning cruddy clad? Which is the better way to go - vibratory or rolling container?
Thanks,
BB

I have a Lortone. Very nice unit, well made. It is a tad pricy but I hope well worth it in the long run, Beale.

I got mine from harbor freight
tumblers
I got the one with one barrel that is one barrel for $19.99 instead of $29.99 I found a coupon online for $10 off and a 2 year extended warrenty for 5 or 6 bucks.
I have had it for a year with no problems
:pulltab:

I just tape a small drum onto my BBQspit shaft throw some sand in an fire it up does a ok job , costs $ 0

I just got a $30 at the hobby shop.

If it looks like a toy, well, it is made for kids.

But I had it going about 20 hours a day for

just short of a week. It still runs like new.

Just use what the others use for grit.

I don't know if it's any good or not, but it did

clean my clad and some other stuff. I plan to wear it out..

Happy Hunting,

I bought a couple well used rotary tumblers for cleaning my clad.
They work fine. 6lb capacity.
I heard of problems with the drive belt and cooling fan on the HF models.
If I were to do it again, for cleaning clad that has only face value, I think I'd get the $50 vibratory tumbler.
Remember, you got to keep 'em separated!

Thanks all. Looks like one of my next purchases will be a tumbler.
