Got out for a bit today at lunch and after work. Not as long as I would have liked, as the weather was ideal. Tried a few new sites that produced very little, a site I had not found much at before and one old standby. 1959D and 1942D dimes, four wheats and about a buck in clad. On my way home just now (10:30 pm) I spied some sidewalk tearouts that had not been filled with gravel yet (finally!) but there was nothing there. :( At least I tried.
 
can't be bad. Don't you just hate those sites that you go into with such high hopes....and then nothing??? And then you'll go into a site feeling neutral or maybe even a little ambivalent...and BAM find something cool that maybe you didn't think would be there. Life is like that. Forrest Gump had it right.
