I don't what they are called but can anyone tell me where I can get the clamp
on the rods on whites metal detectors it is the same clamp they use on expendable snow scrapers etc.

I believe they are called cam locks. Have you tried calling White's?

No not yet trying to find them locally thanks for the info ill do a search for cam locks.
