sometimes. It isn't always what we say, what we do or other things. Sometimes 'appearance' is what our youth are caught up on. Fleshly lusts of this world being shoved at them at every turn.
I bought a t-shirt in Lansing about the end of August. I liked the design and the wording. (And it was on sale - God is always good to us). It has a small wooden maltese cross on front

On the back was this:

I wore this shirt many times and always got at least one compliment on it each day I wore it. Wore it all the weekend of our 4th anniversary in Charlevoix, MI and the travels we took. Always compliments. And with it being Labor Day weekend the towns were all packed.
The card that was attached to the shirt explains something I didn't know:
"Did you know that the average Christian T-shirt is read over 3,000 times before it goes to the yard sale?"
"You can impact your world for Jesus Christ simply by changing your shirt! So what are you waiting for? Change your shirt, change the world!"
I don't necessarily care to adverise for any company but you see the impact of what we wear can make on others. And in this day our youth need to see dressing for Jesus can give them some positive strokes so they too will dress appropriately.
In case you want to see what this old coot looked like the weekend before his hospital stay here is a pic of me:

scary eh? But not as scary when I see the white of my beard and Sherry says my face was that white before I got stablized. (I now feel even more that I need to live for Him). May anyone seeing this t-shirt be blessed.
