Trying to Impress

I found the oval ring a couple of weeks ago and thought about posting it but figured it was not that impressive. A week later I found the plain silver ring and thought it was a nice ring but still not too impressive. Today I found the 14K gold ring and figured this would impress the E-Trac crowd. When I swung my coil over it, it sounded like a penny with a reading around 12/37. The ground was wet but not saturated and fairly easy to dig. I was detecting in a park and was getting a lot of pennies and was ignoring most of them. Something told me to dig it, (glad I listen to Something) after that I was a penny digging fool. I left the park with the ring, a Sacajawea dollar and a pocket full of pennies. Time to go watch Boise State win the Maaco Bowl, should have been the Rose Bowl.

I'd been impressed by anyone of those finds! Thanks for sharing them with us, glad you got out and got some 'tectin' in!!!

Nice ones! Sounds like you learned a lesson about digging even the Zincoln penny numbers. Congratulations on all the nice finds. Thanks for posting.

Very cool and thank you for sharing. The ones I hate are the 3/8" scrap piece cut from 1/2" copper tubing:lmfao:

Nice Finds... Congratulations!
