Trying To Get As Much Clad Before The Snow Arrives To Buy That Annual Gold Coin.....:detecting:

How close are you John?

I apologize for not having followed the Garrett forum closer to know about your methods for this. Do you buy a certain type of gold coin each year or do you adjust according to the clad found?

I’ve thought this is a great idea for putting the clad towards something of value besides just using it as change.

I adjust my spending on how much I made for a particular year. Usually it was under a hundred dollars. This year I am going to spend 200+ dollars. This coming weekend is a coin show, and I will carefully pick out a nice one. To me, old is better.
