Trying to beat the heat here in middle Georgia......

Should top out at 96 again today! The humidity of the deep south is here already. If you've never experienced it, you don't want toIt will make you hunt the AC or water real quick. Anyway with my ever growing desire to hunt all summer I had decided that the headphones had to go for now. I bought a pair of Altec soft ear pods or phones, whatever you call them. They've got a 4' cord on them and with the latex inserts they block virtually all outside sound out. I used them on the wife in the yard and couldn't hear her at all............Good sound quality too for the tones. I can run the 705 a lot lower on volume and threshold and still hear great. The last two hunts I looked like I had a water hose hooked up to each ear there was so much sweating under the cups. Now I'm going to try em out for a little bit......

Well I knew the ultimate test was 1 wife, 4 grandkids, 3 nieces and nephews, my lovely oldest babygirl and my precious youngest babygirl (daughters that is), half in the pool screaming, the other half getting out of vehicles unloading FOOD for the swimmers and ME, one wanting a float blown up and another just talking to pop pop (me) and I didn't hear much of nothing except beep beep-boom boom-beep beep............................They are keepersThe earphones and the family that is!
