Trying some dowsing with copper L-Rods

here's a quick vid on some dowsing to show how they work to a degree, now and i know there are some doubters out there which is fine but anyways just learning this and if there are any pro's out there that have some tips please comment[video]http://youtu.be/4RnPFxXLPO8[/video]
 
I will admit that I have tried dowsing for water lines, gas lines, sewer lines, telephone lines etc. Most of the time it worked quite well. Saved a lot of time when we needed to dig an area to put in water and sewer lines to new homes that we were building.
 
Have a set and they worked hunting my sewer line....have had my kids plant coins under different magazines in back yard, not all at once, and it would point and cross for me...havn't tried them in the field yet but hope to this year.
