Trying out my Vision in loose cobble

rockbuster

New member
I will be trying out my new Vision in prospecting mode for the first time this weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to proceed while working in loose cobble? I have used my Eureka Gold and Goldbug II on this type of ground, but always with an elliptical coil. The area I will be working is out of the water line and very rough with rocks and clay. I am hoping someone may have suggestions on swing speed and any possible tweaks to the preset prospecting mode. Thanks in advance

Steve Herschbach would be the one who probably has been getting into this kind of setup for gold most. (Not sure how far along he is at this point.) Expect some good advise.
