Trying new ground today. Results tonight. Are you getting out today??

When I first came to this forum, I told you about a field that produced 57 old coppers in 3 days. Well I went back there today and hunted some new area in this field. We hit another Hot Spot. First nails then larger trash finally the pieces of Brick. My Buddy got a signal with that sweet tone. He uses an Explorer. Not 2 minutes later I hit mine. 30 feet apart. Both of us got to retrieve the first coin.
After that it was all down hill. We have for markers out for later. The frost was 3 to 5 inches below the surface. It was like concrete. Beautiful day, hope yours was as nice.
In the picture You see the 1796 - 1807 Large cent cause I don't know the date yet. Soaking.
Settings-

GB. 19
Threshold - Barely audible

The Large came in at 40 until I pulled a plug, then a solid 42.
Depth was about 4-5". We were lucky.
The buckle and the oval lead came in a solid 42.
The Wheat, buttons, aluminum disks and copper thimble all came in at 30. Take note of that.

If I have missed something that would interest you, just ask.
