[attachment 252451 E-TraccoinsandVideos054640x360.jpg][attachment 252451 E-TraccoinsandVideos054640x360.jpg] It says 122.6 KB and it plays on windows live movie maker on the CP , I don't know what I'm doing wrong

No I don't. Last week I registered with you tube password and all then I got concerned about personal information so I deleted it. When I went back in to re-register it said my e-mail address already had an account and wouldn't let register again,so I gave up. I'm not all that good on a CP because of my age and no one has ever taught me anything . I've always learned on my own, trial and error method

So you are trying to link the file from your hard drive directly to here. I am pretty sure that is not possible. Actually the main reason it is not possible is due to security reasons. If you were linking to your hard drive that would mean that every time someone watched the video they would be connected to your computer! That is way more dangerous to do than to upload a video to YouTube. Once the video is on the YouTube website its in their "computer" and now one ever gets close to yours. When you said you "deleted the account with YouTube" it did not do what you think. They still have all that information. I am pretty certain all you need to do is sign in with your email address and password. Trust me when I say that YouTube or no YouTube, if a "Hacker" wants to see what's in you home computer he is gonna do it with or without you sitting at it reading these forums.

If all of this worries you then the biggest thing to never do is use your credit card info, bank account info or social security info on the web. These things are much worse than uploading a video to YouTube.

P.S.

Please understand I am not trying to sound like a smartass, I too get concerned about such things. I have had hackers tap into my banking account and charge it a couple of dollars and change twice now. Luckily when that happens I see the money is gone but the first time my bank seen it before me and figured it was not me so they called and asked. I had to change my account information twice now. A lot of people don't bother to keep track of every penny in their account and that is what a hacker is after. A dollar or 2 out of millions of accounts pays huge dividends for them.

Just my .02 cents

Jeff

You can upload the video to photobucket.com in addition to pictures for all to view. Or can you go back and use your old username and password on youtube?
