Good Evening All.
As you can tell I am new to the forum and I am considering on buying a BH Time Ranger are the Titan 3000XD in the next few days. I have read through the forum and have gathered a lot of info on both units and have read reviews on both. I started detecting back in 1990 with a Compass EP Pro analog unit which I though was an excellent machine,of course being new to it at the time I dug every hit. Well my unit quit working a few years ago and here recently I was going to send it off for repairs but it was nowhere to be found.I guess someone needed it more than I did . Now I have caught the bug again and I would appreciate feedback on both the Time Ranger and the Titan 3000XD from some of you that have had a chance to use these units for a while. I live in Texas about 30 miles north of Houston and will be hunting swiming hole river banks old homeplaces when I can find them and maybe even the coastal beaches,I know that technolgy has changed alot since my old analog unit so I need all the help I can get. Thanks and I look forward to the Forum. RickyJ

Your wife tossed it, if she is like my wife.

Don't know about the Titan 3000XD. I do however have a Time Ranger and I love it.
I kinda researched the Titan 3000XD and I think you have more features with the time Ranger than the Titan 3000XD. I can tell that the LCD readout on the Time Ranger is more informative.
It looks like the Titan 3000XD only has notch discrimination, where the Time Ranger has a blanker, programmable discrimination (which I like allot. give you full control on what your want to detect) and a few other features I didn't see on the Titan 3000XD.

I kind of have that same thought, she is always having yard sales and I figured thats where it wound up .
Thanks

Thanks alot for the prompt response. I had already sort of made my mind up to purchase the Time Ranger, just needed a little shove from someone. Thanks Again
