Try this with your T2.....

I took my pinpoint sensitivity down to 60%...
Once a target was located I could really narrow it down!
To do this I would put the detector into pinpoint mode then I would position the search coil close to the center of my searched location of the find. Then I released the pinpoint trigge and pull it again...I was amazed at the location of the Audio response of the T2...much narrower than before and it ws in perfect correlation to the target!

I just thought that was another amazing benefit of the T2, My other detectors never did that for me!

I checked both the Regular manual and found it on page 21...The R6 Manual I haven't read it yet!

Hope this is good imformation for you!

It is good information, I figured it out by actually trying it as some other detectors work the same way, but it's good to know to "narrow" down that field of detecting while pinpointing.

One thing to be aware of when you do it is that the depth reading is then off. Just an FYI...

And works with most units to a degree...remember to put you coil to the side when as I call double clutching or you may detune the signal especially if its a weak one. Yep don't expect you depth indiator to be right on when you do this...
