Trust your RX probe number. It works in many different ways.

Including help with EMI. I have no real issues out in the field so far. But in my neighborhood with broadband and buried power lines it will cause you a problem. Just for fun I probed right over my power service and it said to set the RX to 3. I did. No problem. I was hunting in some highly mineralized ground the other day and the RX probe said 15. I said you got to be kidding. But it worked perfect. There is more to this detector that needs to be discovered.

How do you access your RX probe number with the V3?

Thanks.

On Live Sensitivity David, press ZOOM. Then right or left arrow the RX until it matches. If you don't mind a little chatter, you can up it a few notches.

Thanks so much Larry. You're always extremely helpful!
