At a balmy 10 degrees, I'm confined to quarters so sifting thru pictures here. This one seemed to make good sense. Geo

One smart Grannie.

you doing with the new Toy Hauler? Got it all loaded up yet? We have alot of those that come to our dirt bike track on our race events and stay for the weekend. They all enjoy them and I've seen some sell off the big RV rigs and go back to the Toy Haulers. Less fuel cost and they can leave it at the track and the wife can wander around town if she chooses. A lot of them race all day, and then go to the Casino's around here. Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are really fancey and offer all kinds of entertainment. Most go and never gamble, just like the good buffet deals, and singers, boxing etc.

Will your big road rig fit in there sideways or do you have to key whistle it around some? I know they handle the dirt bikes side ways but not sure on the big road cruisers. Still cold here and snow on ground so no riding for me yet on the highways. Hopefully but the end of March I can break in my new tires some more. They are a little slippery until you get about 100 miles on them. Also waiting for the spring rains to get the sand off the roads. Gotta stay in the survival mode.

Nice looking rig there hooked up on your truck. We pull a 5th wheel but no place in it for bikes. My wife would prefer it to have a place for horses anyhow....

Take care

you go brain dead and don't even notice the temps. Unfortunately, it seems to carry over into old age too... At least thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I wish we had your weather instead of ours. Kelly goes out riding all winter. I go out and put another coat of wax on mine. Yet, I would not like riding in the high heat they get in summer. 90 degrees here is almost to hot on the highways for us snowflakes... I sure like those temps at night thought. Really nice to cruise the old farm roads and smell the silage, cows, apples, pine trees. Even as we head to the coast line in summer you can smell the salt ocean air about 15 miles out....

Hey, I needed a shoe horn to get that Stratoliner in there, but it fit. It's sitting katty-whampus though. The previous owner put in a winch and that sure make it a lot easier to load. The bike is 8" 4" and the trailer is only 8' wide, less than that inside. We are sure looking forward to getting some travel time in this year.

I really liked the idea of the "hauler" for the reasons you gave. We can get out somewhere and do some camping and if the weather is nice, get the bike out. If it's not, we unhook the truck and take it. Kind of a win-win-win situation.

good honest people are not attracted to that sort of occupation. Most would prefer to work for a living instead of steal
