i have heard of those rumors about a year ago too gman, but haven't got anyhere with it . just more or less just here say...well maybe this will be the year that someone puts out a relic machine similiar to the tejon , but alittle more adjustment on the ground balance for hot ground and deph of a f 75.....

They were just tweeked Tesoros is all they were.

Hey Fellers, Y'all need to study up on some history and read some of the jawing that took place over the pros and cons of the Tejons and the Shadow X5's. That brawl could be still be fired up even now by someone that choose to stirr that brew.Won't be me, but I will say that all of the Troys, are still in high demand and well thought of by many. The X2 Series was by Tesoro and the X5& 3.'s by Fisher, so there is a difference. Both, and especially the Fisher Troys, are probably the most well put together machines you will ever encounter. Plenty folks still hoping for another Troy. Still have mine, and the Tejon. The T and X5 are similar in many ways but the 5 has more usable features/modes.Don't ever sell them short as there is a heap of them still in the dirt and smoking plenty of butt.

HERE! HERE! fowlercharles Troys detectors do kick butt my Troy X2 was one hot moma, well worth the money they still command!!!! If you haven't owned a Troy detector you ... well then you haven't owned a........enough said

Loved my X5 but, sold it. Would have kept it but, EMI did it in.
