Hard to argue with results ...I keep thinking I need an E-trac or whatever to keep up with the local coin sniffers. But the way this machine slices & dices-and finds low conductivity targets while moving at speed-it just performs the way I want to.
From a local high school I have beeped before. It's old & trashy. But the good soil was torn out long ago & the entire field is re-sodded. I have yet to find anything real old..
The small 10k white gold was last week. Then this Sunday on another portion of the same field I nailed the gold ring 1st. Re-scanned the hole-and the silver ring was 3" to the side but another 4" down @ about 7"...So I don't know if they were dropped at the same time or I just got super lucky. I'll take it any way it comes....
On the way home I stopped by some dirt piles the city dug in an old part of my neighborhood-Only one coin but it's way cool!
A token from the 1933 auto fair in NY...I'm doing a slow soak & clean as it was pretty cruddy.Found a identical one on fleebay for $10+ so it's not very valuable...But way cool. Hopefully a nice oil soak with a scrub from a toothbrush to get it a bit more presentable. It's copper & under the grime in fairly good condition.
