Hi
I sent my CZ-70 to El Paso texas and in the meantime I bought a Troy X-3 in mint condition but That does not mean it will work like new.
they have been out for awhile.
Does Fisher repair rhese also and can you use fisher coils on them?
Or maybe that is the troy X-2 with tesoro.
confused.

The X2 was an adaptation of a Tesoro product, manufactured by Tesoro, and I believe was compatible with Tesoro searchcoils.

The X5 and the stripped down X3 version were an entirely new from the ground up design including the searchcoil, commissioned by Troy. These models were manufactured by the "old Los Banos Fisher". The searchcoils aren't compatible with Fisher searchcoils. We can probably still do certain kinds of repairs, you'd have to check with our customer service dept. for clarification on that.
