Trowel mod for use with Scuba Tector

I bought a hand trowel at Lowe's and drilled holes in it. This will be added to my Scuba Tector beach snorkeling expeditions. Much easier than digging with my fingers in the sand underwater!

Great mod.
Don't lever too hard with it tho; I snapped one off like that by putting too much pressure on it.

Good advice. I will just be in the water at a sandy beach, so items are not too deep in the sand.

After using the scoop for the first time while snorkeling, I think I am going to put more holes in the scoop, just to increase the speed at which sand filters out of the scoop.
