Trime Time

Well-known member
Found this 1851 Trime and a plain flat button at one of my permissions. Buddy found a confederate pewter block eye and an 1839 dime and my other buddy found an 1818 large cent, Navy cuff button and a nice civilian button. Sorry, I don't have pictures of my buddie's finds.

If you don't have, you all may need to get a Deus2, keep hearing they are a game changer! :twodetecting:HH jim tn
I am using the Deus 1. Right now I can't decide whether to get the 11 r just live with the 1. I am 71 and my detecting years are dwindling.

Your days are dwindling only if you let em. Keep out there swinging with the detector you want to swing and are comfortable with. I got ya by 10 years and still hunt, weather permitting, 4-5 hours 5-6 mornings a week. Don't give in to slowing down. HH jim tn

I"m only going to slow down my swing. I'm 56 so I guess relatively not too old , still work full time . Only have the weekends or afterwork . As far as the Deus 2 , well My Nox 800 is still doing fine for me for now. I hope to be back in the woods at the old cellar holes / homesteads in a couple of weeks. My brother and I are getting electric Mt. bikes to ride the miles of old carriage and logging roads in MA. This will allow us to get to a lot of good spots in minutes instead of hours. We are blessed to have access to places that are still out there and not developed with subdivisions.
