Trifecta plus one in the water

I got my new 6 x 9 coil this week and rigged it up on the ATP last night. I decided that I had had enough of listening to those pesky bottlecaps in the water!! It's not that I can't tell it's a bottlecap, I just can't get my brain to listen and not scoop them!! Anyway, this morning I headed to the lake to meet a couple of fellow Blind Hogs (James, aka Waco Kid and Warren aka Two Scoops) to see what we could find. The 6 x 9 was great in the water, no pesky BC's to listen to and fret over that I might be leaving a good target, just running smooth!! I'll still use the DD on land, but in the water, I can't waste time with BC's! We hunted for about 3 hrs and finds were slim for all of us. I had a total of 17 cents and a silver toe ring and a junk toe ring and very little trash aka pulltabs. My two Blind Hog buddies weren't faring much better. We took a break and discussed and lamented our miserable luck. Then we broke up and headed out again, one more shot for me cuz I was getting hungry and I knew there was a big ol' 2" thick Texas pit-cooked pork chop with my name on it just a few minutes away. I decided to head for a new area and lo and behold, out came 3 nice rings in about 30 minutes!! Here's my total take for the day!!

And the rings cleaned up!!

The big one is Tungsten, the next biggest is Titanium, the Cladagh (sp) in 14k and the toe ring is silver.

I decided 4 rings in a day was plenty and didn't want to appear greedy to the Detecting gods so I headed for town and that pork chop!! My Blind Hog buddies stayed and I surely hope they found some loot of their own!! BTW, the chop was really, really good!!!

Wow...that is really amazing. Nice hunting there....I'm not sure you could have gotten me out of the water...lol

4 ring is a good hunt find in my thinking. Congrats !

Are you married? Do you like beaches? Can you teach me? Do those detectors really work? I heard the AT Pro Rocks!:super: Come here often? What kind of a car do you drive?

4 rings wow! what a great hunt congrats

Awesome luck! Could you elaborate more which coil you were using...thanks! Also...are you submerging your AT Pro or letting it float while you dig?? Just wondering as mine started acting up after a water hunt and had to be sent in for repair. I have not heard a whole lot of feedback of consistant use in water with no problems.

As I said, used the new 6 x 9 coil I just bought, loved it!! Several hunts now, no leaks, no nothing in the freshwater. Shore to chest deep, no worries.

Great job!! Congrats
