Tried TTF

Jeff in Pa

Well-known member
Well I got about a half hour hunt in, was in my front yard again where the signals are thinning out. This time I ran the Andy Sabicsh Discrimination pattern and TTF. Swinging over spots with iron in I pulled another Indian and a Buff.

in TTF you should be using a MOSTLY open screen.........if not, your not getting the full potential. The reason behind TTF is so you don't null over iron, and if you were using Andy's program for disc, you still had iron disc's out

nonetheless, those are super finds!!!

Hi Goes4ever,

I just grabed my Etrac and set it up just as you show on your website, now when I go to that virgin 1830's farmhouse that just as you said, "nulls continually due to iron" I will be ready. Do you think I should put on my 6" Excellerator coil? This place is just loaded to the gills with iron. I mean that the threshold may not come in for 10 or 15 seconds at a time! What do ya think, should I try the small coil or should I leave the stock on it?

Thanks for your help!

Jeff

Well I just went outside and went very slow along the old walk that is loaded with iron. I have alredy determined that TTF is a killer on Nickels! I will dig these deep old ones tommorrow and see what comes up!

Thanks much!!

Jeff

I used TTF for first time last week in local farm field, and found 2002 Nickle in middle of the field. I
think TTF will be a interesting setup. Hope to get out again soon.
