Tried to get out today,and my coil broke

The weather is in the 50s,hit a yard with the racer 2,, dug one signal and picked up my machine,,and the coil was just hanging on the end of the lower rod,looked like a fishing pole..I’ve read about these issues but until today never had a problem..I guess I’ll try to repair it somehow,sucks cause it’s my only coil.
Does anyone know if j&b weld will make a coil false? If it won’t false maybe I’ll j&b weld 2 pieces of plastic on the outer walls of the mounts,drill a hole and see if it’ll work.

Makro will replace it, they did for me.

Is it the (earlier) older style coil & does it have the hollow bolts?

If it's under warranty, they will take care of you. However like anything if it's out of warranty , I would buy the same size coil. Good luck, GS

That is what I did for a temporary repair while waiting (very short wait) for a replacement, only I used some G10 circuit card material and
Loctite slow cure epoxy. I have not had very good luck with JB weld myself....

Dilek took my shipping info on Monday,and today is Thursday,,,,brand new coil just arrived from Turkey..That has got to be the fastest customer service in the business,,thank you Dilek and Makro!!!!!

I'm impressed with the Nokta/Makro customer service.... All I here is good things.... I was waiting to hear a few more results between the Multi Kruzer and the Minelab Equinox 800 before I made a decision; but with that kind of customer service...That's a Game Changer....Awesome
