Tried some baseball photos yesterday

Nothing spectacular yet, but I figured that I would post them anyway. Both of these were taken with a 50mm f/1.4 lens as I have not had much success with my 75-300mm f/5.4 lens. I am much more limited with the 50mm lens in what I can shoot but the quality is far superior to the larger lens. I am planning on upgrading to the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L USM lens in the near future. Oh yeah, my kid's the catcher. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
This shot was neat because I caught the ball just as it hit this kid in the butt. He tried to hop out of the way but unfortunately he couldn't outrun the ball.

I just threw this one in because at full resolution it came out crystal clear, even before PhotoShop processing.
