I have had a hard time forcing myself to try my new Vx3 in the fields. I am really comfortable with my single tone machine for hunting fields. I am also afraid I might miss something. Indiana got surprised by rain today and I only could find one or two fields that weren't super muddy. The one I hunted has a history dating back to the 1850s. I have found at least two house sites on it and have hit it pretty hard over the years. I hunted relic mode today and dug quite a bit of iron and aluminum. I have to say the V3 told me what I was digging. High tones were hard to come by but I got one nice signal at about seven inches. It hit hard and gave me a lot of green on the bars. I knew it was something interesting but was happy to see it after a bath. Pretty sure it will be church related but would love to hear your thoughts.
