Tried a new way to clean indian heads

I read about this method and thought I'd give it a try. It seems much easier than using soap and water and a toothpick which is how I'd been doing it. You put about an inch of hydrogen peroxide in a microwaveable bowl and microwave it for about a minute or until it starts to bubble. Take it out and put your indian heads in and let them soak ,stirring them several times until the solution stops bubbling. Then you just clean them with a qtip. It doesn't seem to effect the detail of the coin and the coin while still being green seems a darker more pleasing color to me . Here are 3 that I cleaned this way.

be very careful with this method! every indian or wheat I have put in peroxide from my area has stripped away all green.......I like the green color and try my best to preserve it. I ONLY use peroxide as a last ditch effort. It also can leave the coin surface dry and very dull.

The coins you show are high detail coins still retaining some of the original coin finish that helps protect them, had you used a more worn coin you might see what I am referring to
